Yorkshire Water will support its developer customers in making choices in relation to how Water Mains and Services are provided and are committed to allowing Developers and Self Lay Providers (SLP’s) to install water mains and services throughout its area of operations.
This document is for developers wanting use an SLP for the construction of new assets. If you are wanting to use a New Appointment and variation ( NAV) to construct and operate your new network, please see further details here.
It is our intention to provide clear information for Developers, NAV's and SLP's to facilitate the smooth and timely installation of new mains and service connections and to ensure fair competition.
Whether it's altering or removing sewerage pipes so that you can carry out proposed improvements, or helping you construct, extend or underpin a building - we've got everything you need right here!
Our dedicated sewerage services section can help with all your queries, so what are you waiting for? Take a look below and see where we can help you.
If you're building or converting a property you need to make sure that you apply for a new water connection.
Whether it's applying for a new domestic water connection to replace an existing connection through a joint supply pipe or for a large domestic development site, we've got all the forms you need.
Since November 2014, Yorkshire Water Developer Services has been tracking performance on the services we provide to customers, developers and self-lay organisations as part of the Water UK Levels of Service. This data has enabled us to develop an improvement plan which we will implement to drive a significant increase in the levels of compliance, thus improving the service to Yorkshire Water customers.
If you are employing a Self-Lay Organisation (SLO) to complete your new mains and services installations on your new development, please use our Self-Lay Services section below.
You will find the services we offer, the application forms and fees, plus guidance on our Self-Lay Policies and Procedures.
